Privacy Policy

This Privacy Disclosure is effective as of January 01, 2010, and explains the privacy policies of Liberty Holdings (Pvt) Ltd (a "Provider"). We are committed to protecting our clients' privacy and security. This disclosure explains what information we collect about you, with whom we may share it. You should read this Privacy Policy in its entirety. Certain sections may apply differently to residents of different jurisdictions.

    DEFINITIONS

    “We”, “our”, and “us” means Liberty Holdings (Pvt) Ltd (Zimbabwe).

    “You” and “your” means partners, customers, clients who access and use this Web site and the services associated with it pursuant to the applicable Terms of Service.

    “Partners” means those who wish to undertake business with us, in the form of investors, financiers, joint ventures, private consortiums and such similar business undertakings.

    “AML” means Anti-Money Laundering and “KYC” means Know Your Customer being definitions in the Due Diligence Policy but included as part of the Privacy Policy.

    INFORMATION WE COLLECT

    We collect the following information about you:

    Information you provide on applications or other forms, such as name, address, e-mail address, passport number, social security number, telephone number, and date of birth;

    Information about your transactions with us, our affiliates, payment history, parties to transactions; and

    Information we receive from a consumer reporting agency, such as verification of your identity and due diligence.

    We may also collect information about how users use this Web site, for example, by tracking unique views received by pages of the Web site or the domains from which users originate. This information is not personally identifiable. We may also use “cookies” to track returning users to our Web site. A cookie is a piece of software that a Web server can store on the users' PCs and use to identify the users should they visit the Web site again.

    Information collected may be associated with non-public personal information users provide us through this Web site.

In order to process your enquiry with us, we need to collect standard information including your name, e-mail address, mailing address and/or telephone number. In order to partner with us, we need to know the information including, but not limited to the following: if applicable, the name of your business, a brief description on the purpose of your business, the name and address of the corporation's registered agent, the name and address of the directors and officers of your corporation and the quantity of shares of stock your corporation will be authorized to issue and the par value of such stock.

    To protect your personal information, all information that you provide on our forms is collected and stored on a secure server and is accessible only by designated staff. When you submit any form of agreements or contracts, your information is encrypted with secure server software to protect the information from unauthorized access.

    All personal information, company information and projects information is treated as confidential and proprietary and is not shared outside a Provider, affiliates or a Provider's direct partners necessary for completion of an undertaking.

    DUE DILIGENCE

    Due diligence is a major cornerstone of Liberty Global Corporation and its affiliates, and as such, where applicable our customers are subject to appropriate due diligence. This will seek to assure that our institution is comfortable conducting business with a particular Customer given the customer's risk profile. In this way, Liberty Global Corporation developed it's own AML (Anti-Money Laundering) and KYC (Know Your Customer) policies for both existing and new customers. They have been developed keeping in mind the practices required by regulatory authorities worldwide placed on such institutions. This procedure was also designed to be simple, well defined and easy to accomplish.

    Furthermore, Liberty Global Corporation operates in a regulatory environment that is internationally recognized as adequate in the fight against money laundering. In addition to due diligence, the Organisation also subjects those Customers that present greater risks to enhanced due diligence. Liberty Global Corporation is fully aware that the AML and KYC policies are not only a tool for combating financial crime, but play an important role in the proper running of our institution. As part of a sound internal control environment, Liberty Global Corporation has adequate policies, practices and procedures in place that promote high ethical and professional standards and prevent the Organisation from being used, by criminal elements. In addition, Liberty Global Corporation has adopted the recommendations of regulatory authorities concerning customer identification and record keeping, and measures to deal with countries with insufficient or no anti-money laundering policies.

    PRIVACY PRACTICES OF THIRD PARTIES

    Our website may feature links to third-party sites that offer goods, services, or information. We are not responsible for content or privacy policies or practices of any advertisers or linked sites of any third parties. We encourage you to review their privacy policy before providing them with any personally identifiable information. Third party sites may collect and use information about you in a way that is different from this policy.

    ACCESS OR CORRECT YOUR INFORMATION

    You cannot access your non-public personal information that we collect online and maintain at Liberty Holdings. However, from a copy of the email sent to you at confirmation of your record or such records you can correct factual errors in your non-public personal information by emailing us at info@liberty.co.zw

    We may change our Privacy Disclosure from time to time. We will provide current customers with a revised disclosure that describes the new practices should we broaden our information sharing practice.
